A 90’s Moment with mya

So anyone who knows me knows I’m pretty much a super fan of Mya! She recently made a tour stop in Brooklyn for “I Love R&B Wednesday” presented by LNFT at Polygon. DJ Big Reef is the power behind the party. I had an absolute blast singing all of my favorite 90s R&B hits in a sea of people experiencing the same nostalgic moment. Mya lit up the stage serving us her classic hits as well as some popular faves of the 90s era. I got to hang with her backstage and it’s always a dope moment to chill with her but this was really special to me because it took me wayyy back. I grew up in the 90s listening to Mya and other artists nonstop on the radio. I even slept with my Bugs Bunny cordless radio headset and of course made my own mixtapes by recording the radio on cassette tape. What a vibe to share some 90s memories with an iconic R&B diva who inspires me so much. If you haven’t seen Mya perform live, you gotta catch her on tour at one of these upcoming tour dates.
